Vanessa M. Chaviano is a performance-driven and solution-oriented Business Operations and Marketing leader with over 18 years of experience growing Fortune 500 companies through developing Operations Procedures and KPIs and launching new business products.

Vanessa’s passion for her professional endeavors and the local community is palpable. She began her academic journey by completing a double bachelor’s degree before pursuing a master’s in Criminal Forensic Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University. She sought further knowledge and growth and earned a Master’s in Business Administration focusing on Organizational Leadership from Ashford University.

Her remarkable achievements have not gone unnoticed. In 2020, she was honored as one of Gulfshore Business Magazine’s 40 under 40. Other distinctions include: Women of Distinction Non-Profit Leader Finalist (2021), Rotary of Cape Coral Rookie of the Year (2020-2021), Florida Gulf Coast University SBDC Distinguished Entrepreneur Finalist (2022), Angels Among Us Award (2022), ENPYs Award Finalist for the Connie Ramos-Williams Nonprofit Publicity Award (2022), Lideres Award (2022) and Nominee for the Women in Business 2023 APEX Awards.

Vanessa is deeply committed to empowering women and nurturing future leaders within the Hispanic community. She founded Leading Latina, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to advancing and promoting personal and professional growth for high school students and post-graduates pursuing college or vocational studies. As President, Vanessa works tirelessly to fulfill the organization’s mission. In addition to her entrepreneurial and philanthropic efforts, Vanessa actively serves in leadership roles within the community. She serves as Lee County School Board Member District 7, Director & Public Image Chair for the Rotary Club of Cape Coral, Cape Competes Stakeholder Member, Leadership Cape Coral 2023 Chair, Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral Board Member, and Cape Junior Cheerleading Coach.

She has previously served as a member of the Lee County MPO Citizens Advisory Committee, a Board Member of The Hispanic Vote, and a Board Member of the Cape Coral Mayor’s Scholarship.

Vanessa cherishes her role as a wife to her husband, Humberto, and as a loving mother to their two daughters, Sadie and Olivia.
