Originally from Costa Rica, Mo Camacho is a proud native Spanish speaker who grew up in Naples, Florida, a place she loves to call home. Surrounded by a strong sense of community and family, Mo learned early on the value of connection, hard work, and giving back, values that have guided her personal and professional journey ever since.

Both in her professional and personal life, Mo has seen firsthand the importance of creating opportunities that strengthen families and build a brighter future for the Hispanic community. As the daughter of parents whose primary language is Spanish, she often helped them navigate day-to-day responsibilities impacted by language barriers, experiences that highlighted the need for a wider range of resources for our Spanish-speaking community.

For most of her career, Mo worked in Collier County, collaborating with local businesses, developers, and design professionals on large-scale construction projects that helped grow the community she’s proud to be part of.

Four years ago, Mo and her husband relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, where she joined Amazon’s real estate development team. In this role, she has had the opportunity to work on major property acquisitions and development projects that bring new jobs to local communities and improve delivery services for families across the country. Notably, she worked on the acquisition of over 140 acres in Fort Myers, which will become Southwest Florida’s first robotics distribution warehouse, a project that will continue to serve and strengthen Southwest Florida.

In February 2025, Mo and her husband returned to Naples to call it home once again. No matter where life and work have taken them, Mo has remained deeply connected to her Hispanic roots and to the Collier County community that shaped her and her family. Her passion for empowering Hispanic families, supporting education and mentorship opportunities, and celebrating the culture and values that unite the community remains stronger than ever.
